Welcome to the official "release" of THE MATHLETES OWN OTHER PEOPLE'S SONGS, a collection of covers recorded between 2002 and 2006 by your favorite one-man band, The Mathletes. Taken as a whole, these songs and the way I've presented them here offer what I find to be a fairly compelling overview of the styles, techniques and influences of that most punk rock of all sub-micro-niche genres, home recorded lo-fi bedroom pop; if you like, you could view these 13 songs as sort of a concept album. Or not... Totally up to you.
